The youth at St. Mark are an important component of who we are as a church. In turn, we as a church play a crucial role in the faith formation of our youth. To this end, we offer regular gatherings for our junior high and senior high students. Our Junior High Youth Group (grades 6-8) and Senior High Youth Group (grades 9-12) meets at least once per month for fellowship, faith-forming and faith-building discussion, outings and adventures, service projects, VA Synod-sponsored events, youth-led worship services, and more.
Additionally, we offer family events about every two months, such as Christmas caroling, egg coloring, picnics, and game nights. St. Mark is fortunate to have a large and growing population of young families and youth; we are very committed to helping and encouraging these young people to develop deep and lasting roots in faith.
