Accessibility as our mission
Jesus’ relationship with people was based on their desire to meet and receive God’s love, grace and forgiveness no matter their physical or mental abilities. We are called to welcome and invite people to have full relationships with God and with each other called together by God’s Spirit. Our mission is to make the church and it’s sanctuary a place where all are invited and able to participate in worship and all activities that help us grow spiritually. It is an ongoing effort to make our community accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
St. Mark is accessible by wheelchair at our front entrance by pushing the electronic opener button. Please wait and the door will slowly open automatically. Our interior elevator can take you to the Fellowship Hall. The sanctuary has spaces for wheelchairs and you are invited to come up for communion or remain at your place and ask the ushers to have communion brought to you.
We are in the process of building accessible restrooms.
