Hello, my name is Clairmonte Ali Griffith. Most everyone knows me as Ali. I am the new mission council president for St. Mark Lutheran Church.

A little bit about me. I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I moved to Charlotte, NC when I was 5 and then moved to Pittsburgh, PA when I was 7. My parents still live there and I call Pittsburgh home. When I graduated college, I moved to Erie, PA, where I stayed and lived there for 10 years. I moved to Charlottesville in 2005. I have 2 children, Miles age 14 and Mason who recently turned 12. I am a nurse anesthetist at UVA. I have been there since moving here in 2005. Some of my hobbies include playing football and basketball with my kids, fishing, camping, and building and driving radio-controlled cars, planes, and drones.

As the new council president, I plan to work with the mission council to maintain and improve the well-being of the church, the preschool, and our community!
