“Faithful and Fearless: Women Who Shaped Our Faith”

From the pages of Scripture to the foundations of the early church, and into the halls of theological scholarship, women have played critical—though often overlooked—roles in the story of our faith. This three-part study is designed to explore how God has used women across time to lead, teach, nurture, challenge, and inspire the body of Christ.

Each session will highlight three women:

• November 2,9,16: Women of the Bible: (Deborah, Esther, Mary of Bethany)
• January 4,11,18: Women leaders in the early church: (Phoebe – Romans 16:1–2, Priscilla – Acts 18; Romans 16:3–4, Thecla – from The Acts of Paul and Thecla.
• February 1,8,15: Female theologians and thinkers: Julian of Norwich (14th century), Dorothee Sölle (Germany, 1929–2003), Dr. Katie Geneva Cannon (USA, 1950–2018).
