Laura Woodworth joined the St. Mark team in October 2023 as the Bookkeeper. She graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with a concentration in accounting. After working for four years as a CPA at a regional firm in Richmond, Laura stayed home to raise four children. She moved with her husband and children to Charlottesville in 1998. As her children grew older, she became the part-time bookkeeper and grant writer for Love INC, where she has worked for 20 years. Laura also works part- time at Jemstone Technologies, which provides computer and bookkeeping services for small businesses and nonprofits. She began her freelance bookkeeping and other financial services company in May 2023. When not employing her bookkeeping skills, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Terry, their adult children and two grandsons, in addition to reading, knitting, and hiking.
