Sydney Boggs is a music educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Appalachian State University and 11 years of teaching experience. She currently works with The Front Porch in Charlottesville, offering music lessons to preschools in federally funded programs across the community.

Sydney grew up in the ELCA Lutheran tradition and has been involved in children’s faith formation throughout her life. She has served as both a counselor and an on-site Area Director at Camp Lutherock, where she helped guide children through outdoor ministry, music, and community-building. At St. Mark Lutheran Church, Sydney helps lead children’s sermons and sings in the choir.

With a passion for weaving together music, movement, and child-centered storytelling, Sydney is excited to support and lead preschool chapel experiences at St. Mark Preschool. She will approach each interaction with the goal of helping young learners feel welcomed, engaged, and spiritually nurtured.
