St. Mark’s camping trip at Sherando Lake (about 45 minutes away) is open to all, including guests. We’ll begin the afternoon/evening of Friday, April 26, and conclude with worship on the morning of Sunday, April 28. You do not have to be there for the entire time. All families are invited to join us from 2-4 pm in Fellowship Hall for a Family Easter crafting party. We will have eggs to color, bunny headbands with ears, paper plate bunnies and a surprise! Older children can help with stuffing the Easter eggs for Sunday’s egg hunt.
We will hold services at noon and at 6pm. We remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ by our traditional liturgy that uses the Bidding Prayer, procession of the cross, lighting candles and listening to the recounting of Jesus passion story according to the Gospel of John.
